Gender Binary and Birth Experience

Race in inextricably linked to the rest our identity as well. That’s why at The Center on Interracial Relationships we examine how other parts of identity impact our experience in the world. In this case, I reflected on a Washington Post article about the firsthand experience of a non-binary person’s experience of pregnancy and birth. Regardless of your gender identity, we can all reflect on how our media presents stories about gender and how it impacts our own gender experience.
